Overview of Services

 

    

Welcome to RI-MUHC Imaging Core Facility

 

RI-MUHC Imaging is a core research imaging facility of the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) with state of the art fluorescence microscopy equipments.  

 

Many techniques of microscopy imaging and optical measurements have been implemented in the facility, and additional methods can be developed to meet individual research requirements.

 

Our goal is to offer researchers imaging services, promote the exchange of expertise and enable high quality science.

  • Zeiss LSM880 Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope and Super-resolution SIM and PALM
  • Zeiss LSM780 Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope and Dual IR lasers
  • Zeiss Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope and TIRF / Direct FRAP
  • Nikon Epi-flourescent Microscope for Live Cell Imaging (Ca2+ Imaging and Rationmetric Imaging)  
  • Nikon Epi-fluorescent Microscope for fixed cells and tissues
  • Molecular Device High-content Screening/Imaging Analyer Image Ultra (Confocal)
  • Molecular Device High-content Screening/Imaging Analyer Image XLS (Widefield)
  • Zeiss Multiphoton Microscope MP7 
  • PerkinElmer Plate reader
