Overview of Services

 

THE HISTOPATHOLOGY PLATFORM provides routine processing, embedding, sectioning and staining of paraffin and frozen tissues.

Standard H&E staining is offered as well as a wide range of special stains: Masson Trichrome, PAS, Jone's Silver, Gram, Alcian Blue, Toluidine Blue, Van Gieson, Giemsa and other upon request.
Single and multiplex Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence services are also offered. 

Stained slides can be scanned for high resolution images 20x-40x with the Aperio Turbo 2T.

Platform equipments can be booked for unassisted use following a mandatory training. These equipment include:  microtome, cryostat and Laser capture microdissection. 

Training is provided for an hourly fee.
